摘　　要：康拉德的代表作《黑暗的心》不仅揭露了欧洲殖民者的罪恶,更向世人传递了东方文化丰富的生态智慧。作品中的叙述人马洛以和谐与整体的生态维度观照非洲的丛林、河流与荒野,流露出物我一体的东方自然生态意识;对素昧平生的白人与黑人的同情与关怀,表现了宽大厚道的东方仁爱精神;目睹放纵欲望的惨重后果,深刻领悟到遏制欲望的重要性,传达出东方自我约束意识,体现了康拉德为化解殖民危机而转向东方生态智慧寻求精神救赎的诉求。Heart of Darkness,Conrad’s masterpiece,did not only reveal the evil of European colonizers,but also transmit to the world the rich ecological wisdom in the Oriental culture.The narrator Marlowe in the work views the jungles,rivers and wilderness of Africa from a harmonious and integral ecological dimension,revealing the ecological consciousness of integration of objects and ego in the oriental nature.He has sympathy and care for the whites and blacks whom he had never known before,showing the oriental benevolent spirit of great kindness.And he witnesses the disastrous consequences of indulging desire and deeply realizes the importance of restraining desire,conveying the oriental sense of self-restraint.These writing features show Conrad’s appeal of seeking spiritual salvation by turning to oriental ecological wisdom in order to resolve the colonial crisis.
