摘  要:色偏是评价面板显示性能的重要指标之一。为评估面板关键因素对色偏的影响,使理论模拟结果符合实际测试结果,本文研究了ADS类产品子像素状态和偏光片本征模式对面板色偏的影响。首先,基于RGB&RGBW产品的模拟和测试结果,理论阐述了两种彩膜方案对色偏的影响,在此基础上提出一种新的ADS类产品色偏评价方法,即考虑不同灰阶相邻子像素的相互影响,对目标子像素的三刺激值进行叠加运算,进而输出色偏模拟值。在超大视角(θ=-80°,80°)下,ΔE模拟值与实测值的差值由现有方法的0.19和0.17降低为0.03和0.05。其次比较了偏光片本征模式对色偏的影响,结果表明ADS双畴设计下O-mode具有色偏优势。本文提出的色偏计算方法与现有方法相比,对面板色偏拟合效果更好,同时对于ADS类面板而言,偏光片O-mode模式是一种能够减轻色偏的设计。Color shift is an important indicator for LCD panel’s image quality. In order to accurately evaluate the key factors in panel color shift, situations of sub pixel and polarizer optical eigenmodes have been investigated. Firstly, after comparing the simulation and actual measurement of color shift on RGB &RGBW panels, the result shows that different types of color filters and the methodology used directly decide the color shift. Thus a new evaluation method of color shift is proposed to overcome the defects of existing one. In consideration of the interaction effect of adjacent sub pixel in different gray-scale, the tristimulus values of target pixels are superposed as a new color shift element. This method effectively reduced the gaps between simulation and measurement from 0.19 and 0.17 to 0.03 and 0.05 in wide view angle(θ=-80°,80°). The impacts of E- and O-mode optical eigenmode on the color shift are also investigated. The result shows that O-mode is more advantageous to reduce the color shift in ADS two domain design. Method in this paper can accuracy fit the color shift results. O-mode optical eigenmode, on the other hand, is an alternative way to reduce color shift in LCD panel design.
