科学图书社与清季民初的新书新刊传播(1903—1919)

摘　　要：诞生于新旧交替之时的科学图书社是安徽近代最具影响力的新式书店。它将文化高地上海、东京等地出版的新书和报刊,通过邮发、书店代卖、直销、所营报刊代派处代售等方式向以安徽为中心的中部地区销售。通过对科学图书社所营业书目的统计分析,可知科学图书社的经营在图书种类上可比肩上海等书业发达地区的书店,在内容上以新式教材教具新书新刊为重点,取向上偏重西学。基于传播内容和科学图书社特殊的外在形象,它本身也成为“科学”“先知”的代表被广为传播。这些传播内容和传播活动既承载着皖省新式知识分子彰显的启蒙话语和进步思潮,又推动着安徽新文化运动及近代革命的发展。The Science Book Press,which was established during the transition from the old to the new society,is the most influential modern bookstore in Anhui.It sold new books and newspapers published in cultural highlands such as Shanghai and Tokyo to the central region of Anhui through post Office,bookstores,direct sales and newspaper agencies.Through the statistical analysis of the bibliographies operated by the Science Book Press,we can see that the operation of the Science Book Press is comparable to that of the well-developed bookstores such as Shanghai,focused on the new teaching materials and teaching aids in content,and other new books and magazines are generally more Western-oriented.Based on the content of communication and the special external image of science library,it has become the representative of “science” and “prophet” and has been widely disseminated.These propagating contents and activities bear the enlightenment discourse and progressive thoughts highlighted by the new intellectuals in Anhui Province,as well as promoting the development of the Anhui New Culture Movement and the modern revolution.
