英语商务信函中礼貌策略的使用比较

摘　　要：本研究通过调查非英语母语人士与英语母语人士在英语商务函电中使用礼貌策略的情况,分析了四家公司的以汉语为母语,英语为第二语言的雇员所写的商务函电,与以英语为母语的雇员所写的商务函电进行比较,结果表明,非母语雇员使用消极和积极的礼貌策略的频率要高于母语雇员,社会距离在不同策略的使用中起着重要的作用,尤其是在称呼类型的选择上,需要积极礼貌策略来减少面子威胁行为。This study investigates the use of politeness strategies in English business letter between non-native speakers and native English speakers,the data comes four companies.The results show that non-native speakers use negative and positive politeness strategies more frequently than native speakers,social distance play an important role in the use of strategies,especially on the choice of address types,positive politeness strategies are used to reduce FTA.
