摘　　要：20世纪70年代,美国国家公园管理局完成了历史类型国家公园体系规划与评估研究。其目标是建立一个相对有序的评价框架,对未来国家公园体系的扩充与拓展形成较强的指导性。简要回顾了美国历史文化遗产保护与国家公园体系的关系,重点分析了美国国家公园体系(历史类型)评价的步骤与内容:1)梳理美国历史发展脉络,划分一级、二级主题和特征元素;2)对现存的相关保护单位进行筛查定位,对体系现状进行定性描述与定量统计;3)明确各主题在体系中被表达的充分程度,获得体系健全度的评价结果。最后就这项工作对中国的借鉴意义展开讨论。During 1970s, the system planning and assessment of U.S. National Parks of History Categories was finished by NPS. Its main objective was to make systematic review, evaluation and anticipation for the future of U.S. National Parks from the macro scale. This paper firstly summarizes the development of U.S. National Park System of History Category, and then stresses on the procedure and content of system plan and assessment, including: 1) classification of themes, subthemes and major facets by carding the history of American;2) systematic investigation and gap identi fication of existing protected properties based on qualitative analyses and quantitative statistics;3) representation adequacy evaluation. At last it discusses the reference significance of this work for China.
