摘 要:Cruise tourism is one of the most popular and fastest growing segments of the international tourism market. It is a labor-intensive and capitalized sector combining different types of tourism, such as recreational, leisure, sports, cultural, and other. Cruise includes not only the water transport with the variety of entertainment on cruise liner, but also the coastal excursions and port of calls sightseeing tours. The Black Sea Region has the best potential for cruise tourism development. The Black Sea Region cruise tourists can visit six countries with unique culture and precious historic monuments. Nevertheless, global cruise companies consider the Black Sea Region not as an independent region but as a part/continuation of the Mediterranean cruise. According to the data of 2014, the market was affected by Russia’s actions causing instability in eastern Ukraine. This means that the demand has fallen on the Black Sea cruises, at least in the short term. The events of June 2016 were added to the attempted military coup in Turkey and cruises on the Black Sea had been stopped by the cruise lines for a few years. The Black Sea Region, at this stage, suffers from the uncertainties caused by many conflicts. Therefore, the Black Sea Region cruise tourism destinations are dramatically influenced by economic and political instability.
