摘 要:利用2008~2011年间EISCAT(european incoherent SCATter)雷达场向观测数据计算低F层子午风,分析比较了其季节变化特征。 This issue is focused on statistically analyzing the seasonal variations of polar thermospheirc meridional winds in lower F layer by calculating meridional winds through line-of-sight measurements of EISCAT (european incoherent SCATter) radar during 2008 and 2011.The main features are that the pole-ward meridional winds during daytime flow the strongest in winter and the weakest in summer and the duration of pole-ward wind in summer is also the shortest. The equatorward winds at night flow the strongest in spring.Through comparison with predictions of HWM07 (horizontal wind model 07),the winds obtained from EISCAT radar and HWM07 show an obvious diurnal variation that meridional wind flows pole-ward during daytime and equatorward at night. The agreement between model predictions and radar measurements is good in autumn and winter, but in spring and summer especially in summer, there exists an obvious difference.
