摘 要:利用矢量有限元法,研究了加载右手材料和左手材料的对脊重叠鳍线的传输特性,重点讨论了金属鳍的厚度对其特性的影响,同时研究了材料对主模截止波长、单模带宽、主模和第一高阶模场结构及色散特性的影响。结果表明,加载左手材料时,主模截止波长几乎都比加载右手材料时小,主模截止波长和单模带宽随加载区域的扩大呈相反的变化趋势,主模场线和第一高阶模场线在加载区域的分布形状完全相反,色散特性相似。这些数值计算结果有助于新型微波和毫米波器件的设计。The edge-based finite element method is introduced to systematically investigate the transmission characteristics in an antipodal overlapping finline loaded with right- and left-handed materials. Moreover, the influence of the thickness of metallic fins on the characteristics is also discussed. In addition, the paper discusses the influences of materials on the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode, the single-mode bandwidth, the dispersion characteristics and field patterns of the dominant mode and the first higher-order mode. The results show that the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode when the left-handed material is loaded is approximately less than that when the right-handed material is loaded. Moreover, the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode and the single-mode bandwidth vary inversely with the expansion of the loading area, and the field line distribution of the dominant mode in the loading area is entirely different from that of the first high-order mode. However, the variation in the dispersion characteristics is similar. The numerical results provided herein are considered usefully in the design of new microwave and millimeter-wave devices.
