Objective To understand the effects of physical training on the morphological, body composition, cardiopulmonary function, and lipid metabolism indicators to officers and soldiers,so as to provide the reference for military training. Methods Using cluster sampling method,300 cadres and soldiers aged 21-55 years old from a certain troop in Beijing were selected to perform physical training for 26 weeks to analyze the changes of indicators before and after training. Results After physical training,waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),body mass index(BMI) and body fat percentage(PBF%) decreased significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01),and lean body mass increased significantly(P<0.01);vital capacity(VC),maximum autonomous ventilation(MVV) increased significantly(P<0.01),resting heart rate decreased significantly(P<0.05),systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure did not change significantly(P>0.05);blood lipid metabolism indicators TC,HDL-C,APO-A1,APO-A1/APO-B increased significantly(P<0.01),and LDL-C and APO-B decreased significantly(P<0.01). Conclusion 26 weeks of physical training has a significant improvement in the physical health of officers and soldiers.
