西夏状元释褐职任窥斑  

A Glimpse of Number One Scholars’ Initial Posts in Western Xia Dynasty

摘　　要：从目前能找到的3位状元的资料可窥见西夏状元释褐职任之一斑。仁孝前期某科进士第一人高岳初授宣德郎,这跟同一时期南宋状元的释褐职任几乎一致。天庆十年状元李遵顼榜下嗣齐王爵,则跟同一时期南宋状元的释褐职任大相径庭。而乾定三年第一名进士高智耀授签判,又跟同期南宋状元完全一样。从中至少可以看出,西夏有时是模仿宋朝,授给状元的初始职任跟宋朝一模一样或基本一样;有时又自行其事,给状元以奇高的初始职任。西夏对状元夺魁后究竟该授以什么样的初始职任并没有制度化,有时比较随意,波动很大。From the present data about the three number one scholars something can be known about the number one scholars’ initial posts in the Western Xia Dynasty.Gao Yuechu,number one scholar in the early period of Renxiao,was appointed as Xuan De Lang,which was almost the same as number one scholar’s initial post in the same period of the Southern Song Dynasty.Li Zunxu,number one scholar in the tenth year of Tianqing,was appointed as King Siqi,which was completely different from the initial post of number one scholars in the same period of the Southern Song Dynasty.Gao Zhiyao,number one scholar in the third year of Qianding,took office as Qian Pan,which was exactly the same as the initial post of number one scholar in the same period of the Southern Song Dynasty.At least,it could be seen that sometimes the Western Xia imitated the Song Dynasty and offered exactly the same or almost the same posts as the Song Dynasty did for number one scholars.Sometimes the Western Xia simply went its own way and offered number one scholars exceedingly high initial posts.In the Western Xia Dynasty,the initial posts of number one scholars were not institutionalized and hence were sometimes arbitrary in a sense and greatly fluctuated.
