摘　　要：詹姆斯·纽顿·瓦尔斯20世纪所处的时代背景与国内当前现状在建筑学方向有耦合之处,20世纪下半叶,美国建筑环境问题正如当今国内一样比较突出。建筑环境问题涉及双重含义:建筑语境的偏失与生态环境的恶化。通过对詹姆斯教授的访谈及其两本重要书著《解构建筑》与《绿色建筑》以及相关设计作品研究,发现了其不断批判理性中隐含的环境为本主义设计思想。最后,詹姆斯教授以批判的眼光探讨了当代建筑的发展,对国内建筑学发展有重要的指导意义。The architectural situation that James Wines faced in 1950s’ America is similar to the current situation in China. Architectural environmental problems in America at that time were as outstanding as China’s domestic problems today. These environmental problems include two aspects: the deviation in architectural context and the deterioration of the ecological environment. Through the study of Wines’ two important books, De-Architecture and Green Building , and related design practice, this paper explains his environmentalist design ideology about continuous rational criticism. At last, Wines discusses the contemporary architecture development prospects from a critical perspective, which perhaps has its guiding signifi cance to the domestic architectural environment.
