摘 要:面对孤岛时期上海持续上涨的米价,虞洽卿发起上海民食调节协会、上海平粜委员会,积极参与民食调节,对保障上海米粮供应、维持贫民民食生计、抑制米价上涨、维护社会稳定起了重要作用。孤岛时期上海米价在虞洽卿等多方力量的调节中仍快速上涨,是由特殊环境的特殊原因决定的。只有客观分析米价上涨的原因,才能正确认识虞洽卿调节民食的作用和影响。Facing the rising rice price in Shanghai during the isolated island period, Yu Qiaqing initiated the establishment of the Committee of the Citizens’ Foodstuff Regulation and the Committee of Fair Price Food in Shanghai to actively participate in the regulation of foodstuff. The measure played an important role in ensuring the supply of rice in Shanghai, maintaining the livelihood of the poor, restraining the rise of rice price and maintaining the social stability. All those efforts gained the positive evaluation of public opinion at that time. However, the rice prices in Shanghai were still rising rapidly under the efforts of Yu Qiaqing and other forces. It was determined by the special reasons in that special environment. Only by objectively analyzing the reasons for the rise of rice price can we correctly understand the role and influence of Yu Qiaqing in regulating foodstuff.
