摘　　要：二世策墨林阿旺降白楚臣嘉措在清代西藏地方史上具有重要地位,受到研究者较多关注。相关研究中对其坐床、族属、是否到过北京以及他的封号都有不同说法。资料表明,阿旺降白楚臣嘉措于嘉庆五年在雍和宫通过金瓶掣签选为噶勒丹锡綜图萨玛第巴克什阿旺楚臣的转世灵童,非以往所说的在乾隆年间认定;他是卓尼杨土司所属藏族无疑,而非有些资料所说的回族;阿旺降白楚臣嘉措的职衔全称"噶勒丹锡綜图萨玛第巴克什额尔德蒙额诺们罕",清廷始终未赏给他呼图克图职衔。他的名号有"衍宗翊教靖远懋功禅师"和"达尔汗"。他一生从未到过北京。Tshe smon gling sku pheng gnyis pa ngag dbang vjam dpal tshum khrim rgya mtsho is one of the most powerful persons in the Tibetan history of Qing dynasty,and who received much attentions from scholars.In the related research,there are different opinions about when he was selected as the incarnation of the first Tshe Smon Gling Ngag Dbang Tshum Khrim,his clan,his travel to Beijing,and his title given by Qing court.In fact,he was selected as the reincarnation in 1800;he was a clan member of Tibetan chieftain Zhuoni Yang.Therefore,he was not a Hui as mentioned in some materials.However,the Qing court has never rewarded him with the title of Hutuktu.He has never been to Beijing in his life as well.
