摘　　要：As an important part of Ideological Construction in Colleges and universities, the ideological work ability of college counselors is closely related to the smooth development of ideological work in Colleges and universities. The ideological work ability of college counselors is related to the ideological security of colleges and universities, and to the realization of the goal of talent cultivation in Socialist Colleges and universities. College counselors, as the fresh force of ideological education for college students, are the organizers, implementers and guides of the daily ideological and political education and management of College students. In order to do a good job in the ideological work of colleges and universities under the new situation, as the counselor of the backbone of ideological and political work in colleges and universities, the ability to carry out ideological work is directly related to the effectiveness of this work. This paper points out the factors that restrict the ability of counselors to improve their ideology, and conducts an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems. According to the actual situation of counselors themselves, universities and society, they put forward concrete and feasible measures.
