A Sociolinguistic Interpretation on Internet Catchwords

摘　　要：Nowadays,influenced by the spreading Internet wave,a mass of Internet catchwords are emerging and coming into fashion.This paper,in the perspective of sociolinguistics,describes the formation features of Internet catchwords with exemplars of沙雕(傻屌),表脸,尬聊,厉害了Word哥,盘他…and analyzes the generation causes of them to help readers have a better understand of Internet catchwords.Through analyzing these words,we can conclude that there are more and more Internet catchwords emerging with netizens'increasing language demands.Nowadays, influenced by the spreading Internet wave, a mass of Internet catchwords are emerging and coming into fash-ion.
