摘　　要：Things did not delay in turning more curious yet. Between 1032 and 1036 was a driveway, two strips2 of cement for car wheels, weeds growing between them. Why not? I asked myself, might as well. As I stood there on the threshold4 of some discovery, wondering what or who was on the other side of that door, a large black dog came at me, snarling5 and barking.
