文化维度理论视阈下的《最后的武士》解析

摘　　要：由于历史、地理、政体与宗教等的不同,日本与美国在文化层面亦存在显著的差异,而这一文化差异在思维方式和价值观念上体现得尤为明显。《最后的武士》是一部以日本近代历史为题材的美国电影。运用文化维度理论解析这部兼容历史与文化的影片,这不仅可以帮助我们深入地理解19世纪后期美日两国的文化差异,而且对我们在当今全球化潮流下寻求传统与现代的平衡有启迪意义。Due to differences in history, geology, political system and religion, significant differences also exist between Japan and America in cultural terms, and the cultural differences between them are particularly evident in ways of thinking and values. The Last Samurai is an American film based on the modern history of Japan.Analyzing this film blending history and culture through cultural dimensions theory not only helps us deeply understand the cultural differences between America and Japan in the late 19th century, but also enlightens us when striving to seek the balance between tradition and modernity amid the current trend of globalization.
