摘 要:风格翻译是译学界一个老生常谈的话题,但对于汉语乡土文学作品乡土风格的翻译研究却比较薄弱。美国汉学家葛浩文是一位公认的成功翻译家,他不仅发表过有关中国乡土文学乡土风格之论,而且进行了大量的翻译实践,因此有必要对其乡土风格之论进行条分缕析并在其实践上进行验证,才会为未来的有关翻译实践找到规律性的东西,并让有关研究做到有的放矢。研究发现,奈达等人有关"翻译"的两个层次,也适用于描写葛浩文的汉语乡土文学翻译实践。葛浩文在确保交际信息通达和乡土风格再现之间,行为呈现为选择性,在不影响交际信息通达的前提下,偏于对原文乡土风格的再现。It is a traditional hot topic for the translation of style to be discussed in the academic circles. As for the translation of the folk language style of the Chinese folk literature, there is still a long way to go. Howard Goldblatt is a successful translator. He does not only express his thoughts on the translation of the folk language style, but also has enough practices. Therefore, it is necessary for us to sort out his related thoughts and have them examined in his practices. Only in this way can we find laws for the future practices and make the related researches targeted. This article finds out that the two layers defined by Nida and Taber’s "translating" can be used to describe Goldblatt’s translation of the folk language style of the Chinese folk literature. Between "meaning" and "style", his behaviors are optional. With "meaning" be clear, he is inclined to reproduce the "style" of the folk language style.
