摘　　要：Clashes between globalization and anti-globalization forces, between US hegemony and emerging powers, and between unilateralism and multilateralism have since early 2018 become pronounced. The unprecedented changes being seen now intensify the mismatch between security challenges and global security mechanisms that contributes to our uncertain times. The current US judgment over the international situation is hasty, one-sided and negative. By deliberately reducing the dependence between China and the US over shared interests, the US pushes Sino-US relations towards a new cold war. China, in analyzing causal relationships and developments at a macroscopic level, seeks convergence of its national interests and humanity’ s common interests.
