A Survey on Real Author of A Story of Ancient Mirror

摘　　要：《古镜记》是唐代传奇小说中最具影响力的一篇。《古镜记》中包含十八个小故事,这些小故事都可以独立成篇。加之其内容多有重复、有的情节前后矛盾,由此,本文认为,《古镜记》可能并非一人一时独立创作完成。从现有资料看,王度、王勔、王勃等王氏子孙皆可能是《古镜记》的创作者。A story of Ancient Mirror is the most influential of the legendary novels in the Tang Dynasty. It contains 18 short stories, which were independent from each other. Some plots in the stories are retold and sometimes contradict to each other. Therefore, this paper maintains that the author of A story of Ancient Mirror was not written by one person independently. From the data available, it may be written by Wang Du, or Wang Mian, or Wang Bo, or the descendants from the family of Wang’s.
