欧美国家城市化进程中的社会景象及城乡关系述略——基于外国文学的视窗

摘　　要：借助于工业革命力量的强大推动,欧美国家的城市化在18世纪后期到20世纪中期,逐步得到推进和实现,城市状况及各类关系发生了显著变化。对于欧美国家这个时期的城市化规律的知识,人们通过梳理、研究或总结,已经获得了较清晰的认知,而其中的丰富细节、具体面貌、嬗变过程等,限于当时摄影、录像等具象的信息记载手段的匮乏或不足,造成了人们至今对其认识尚比较模糊。其实,在欧美城市化的同期,涌现了一批文学家,他们创作了不少优秀作品。通过这些文学作品中的场景,尤其是对城市的描写,能够让后人大致“看到”或“体味”到很多当时城市化的生动景象,这会在很大程度上拓展对城市史的研究,丰富对城市化的认识。文章选取若干作家的作品进行剖析,佐证文学中的场景铺陈与这个时期的城市化的一致性。In the late part of eighteenth century to the middle of 20th century,with the aid of a powerful force from industrial revolution,the urbanization in some European and American countries not only came into being,but also achieved great successes.At last,the appearances or images of cities and all kinds of relations in them had changed significantly.By researching continuously,people have gained a clear understanding about the regular knowledge of the urbanization in European and American countries during that period.But due to the lack or insufficient of photography or video and other vividly information recording tools,many men could not know the details and concrete appearances of the urbanization in the long-term process,causing a vague understanding to it in so far.In fact,a number of writers emerged during the same period of urbanization in Europe and America,and they created many excellent works.Through studying the description of cities as scenarios in the literature,the latecomers can roughly"see"or"taste"many vivid images in the past process of the urbanization.In this way,we can expand the study of urban history and rich knowledge about urbanization.This paper chose a number of authors with their works as selected examples to be analyzed,and the consistency between literary description of scenes and urbanization in that period has also been corroborated.
