Objective To study and analyze the clinical effect of diet therapy on nausea and vomiting in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods A total of 300 patients with lung cancer who underwent chemotherapy in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were randomly assigned to group A (150 patients) and group B (150 patients), all receiving the same chemotherapy regimen. Group A received routine nursing intervention, group B underwent basic dietary therapy intervention, and the incidence of nausea and vomiting and quality of life at different times were observed and compared. Results Comparing the incidence of nausea and vomiting within 24 hours after chemotherapy and 24 hours after chemotherapy, the results showed that the incidence of nausea and vomiting in group B was significantly lower than that in group A (P<0.05). The comparison of quality of life scores between groups showed that group B was higher than group A (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy, dietary therapy can effectively improve nausea and vomiting on the basis of routine treatment and nursing, thereby improving the quality of life and having considerable promotion value in clinical practice.
