摘　　要：红色基因是红色文化的科学凝练与准确表达,其自身具有承继性和创新性,其蕴含的文化内涵和精神内核通过社会实践得以“诠释”,红色文化与社会主义核心价值观表征的文化内涵和精神内核共融、共通、共生。高校应创新“红色育人”载体、完善“红色育人”形式、丰富“红色育人”内容、拓宽“红色育人”途径,促使大学生回归本心、回归初心、回归使命、回归梦想。Red culture is an important part of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. The red gene is the scientific concise and accurate expression of the red culture. It is inherently inherited and innovative. Its cultural connotation and spiritual core are interpreted through social practice. The cultural connotation and spiritual core of the red culture and the socialist core values are inclusive, common and symbiotic. How to integrate red genes into the core values education of college students, how to realize the educational function and educating people’s vision of college ideological and political education are new topics and mission of the ideological and political education of college students in the new era.
