Investigation and analysis of the use of Chinese patent medicine for children in Shenzhen Nanhai District Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital

摘　　要：目的了解深圳市南山区妇幼保健院儿童中成药使用现状,为儿童中成药合理使用提供参考。方法整理深圳市南山区妇幼保健院在用儿童中成药说明书信息,抽查2018年第一季度含中成药儿童处方4339张,对中成药类别、剂型、用法用量、安全性提示及处方用药情况进行统计、分析。结果深圳市南山区妇幼保健院儿童在用中成药54种,化痰、止咳、平喘剂(占24.07%)和清热剂(占20.37%)居前2位。药品说明书中无儿童用法用量提示的药品占44.45%;说明书无安全性信息提示的药品占68.51%,抽查处方中不合理用药处方占1.19%,主要问题是适应证不适宜、用法用量不适宜。结论中成药在儿童中使用广泛,其说明书儿童用药信息不完整,存在不合理用药现象,不合理处方多由西医医师开具。建议有关部门更新完善说明书信息,对西医医师开展中医药基本知识培训,中药师应针对常见疾病制定相应中成药合理使用实践细则,严格审方,共同促进儿童中成药合理使用。Objective To investigate the current situation of application of Chinese patent medicine for children in Shenzhen Nanshan District Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital,and to provide references for rational use of Chinese patent medicine for children.Methods To sort out the information about the packet inserts of all the Chinese patent medicine for children in Shenzhen Nanshan District Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital,4339 prescriptions of Chinese patent medicine for children patients were on random inspection in the first quarter of 2018.We kept statistics and made analyses on the Chinese patent medicine in regard to the category,dosage form,directions and dosage,safety tips and the medication information on prescription.Results There are 54 kinds of Chinese patent medicine for children in Shenzhen Nanshan District Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital,the formulae for the treatment of resolving phlegm,relieving cough and asthma (24.07%) and reducing fever (20.37%) are in the first two place.Totally 44.45% of the packet inserts had no indication of children’s usage and dosage,68.51% of them had no safety tips.The proportion of unreasonable prescriptions on random inspection was 1.19%,and the main problems are the inadequacy of indication and inadequacy of usage and dosage. Conclusion The Chinese patent medicine has been widely used for children,whose instructions for children ’s medication are incomplete,there exists unreasonable medication,and the unreasonable prescriptions are mostly prescribed by Western physicians. In order to improve the rational use of Chinese patent medicine for children,we suggest that the relevant departments should update and perfect the information of the packet inserts,and enhance the training on the basic knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine,Chinese herbalists should formulate relevant rules for the rational use of Chinese patent medicines for common diseases,strictly examine prescriptions,and jointly promote the rational use of Chinese patent medicines in children
