摘　　要：STN系统虽然不是专利检索中必选数据库,但它在涉及化合物及其用途的专利检索方面,具有能够快速实现化合物结构和功能检索且方便原文索取等优势,是值得向专利审查员和专利申请人推荐的数据库。本文结合了审查员在实际专利审查中遇到的一个专利申请情况,来说明STN系统检索的优点。Although the STN system is not a mandatory database for patent search,it has the advantages of being able to quickly find the structure and function of the compounds as well as the original papers involving these compounds.As a result,this system is of great importance for both patent examiners and applicants.Based on a real patent application,this paper demonstrates the usage and advantage of STN system in patent examination.
