摘　　要：目前,高校校名翻译这一领域仍没有一定的标准可以参考.不同于其他类型的高校,独立学院校名结构更为复杂,因此需要更加全面的考虑.根据学校官网及校徽内容收集246所独立学院校名及其英译名,对其进行分类整理,分析校名翻译的特点及其合理性,试图将校名翻译规范化.Currently, no formal references can be found concerning the field of translating university names. Different from other types of universities, independent colleges have more complicated structures themselves, therefore, more comprehensive consideration is needed when translating their names. In this thesis, the author collect 246 names and their English version according to the information from official websites and school badges of the independent colleges, classify them and analyze their translation features, trying to standardize the method of translation.
