摘　　要：本文以2008~2017年中国企业海外研发投资的66个东道国为样本,基于制度和网络外部性视角,分析了海外研发三动因对中国企业海外研发投资的影响。结果表明,海外研发三动因对海外研发投资有显著影响,制度水平和网络外部性对上述影响有调节作用。海外研发投资与东道国市场规模、技术水平正相关,与人力成本负相关。制度水平减弱了市场规模、人力成本与技术水平对海外研发投资的影响。网络外部性则减弱了东道国市场规模对海外研发投资的正效应,增强了东道国人力成本对海外研发投资的负效应以及技术水平对海外研发投资的正效应。Based on the sample of 66 host countries of Chinese firms’ overseas R&D investment from 2008 to 2017,this paper analyzes the influence of the three-motives of overseas R&D investment on Chinese firms from perspectives of institutional and network externalities.The result shows that the three-motives of overseas R&D investment have significant impact on overseas R&D investment,which can be moderated by institution level and network externalities.Overseas R&D investment is positively correlated with market size and technology level of host country,and negatively correlated with labor cost.Institution level of the host country moderates the relationship between the three-motives and overseas R&D investment,a higher institution level weakens the impact of market size,labor cost and technology level on overseas R&D investment.Network externalities weaken the positive effect of the market size on overseas R&D investment,enhance the negative effects of the labor cost on overseas R&D investment and enhance the positive effect of the technology level on overseas R&D investment.
