摘　　要：第二次鸦片战争后,西方教会势力大肆向中国渗透,与广大民众产生激烈冲突.作为近代中国创办最早并有重要影响力的报刊——《申报》,对民教冲突、清政府应对措施等都进行了大量记载.通过对这些资料的研究,可以窥视清政府对西方教会的态度以及民教冲突对社会的影响,对于我们进一步全面了解近代中国社会具有独特的意义.After the Second Opium War, the Western church forces infiltrated into China, resulting in fierce conflicts with the general public. As the earliest and most influential newspaper in modem China, Shenbao recorded a lot of conflicts between the people and religion and the measures taken by the Qing government. Through the study of these materiak, we can see clearly the government's attitude towards Western churches and the impact of the conflict between the two religions on society, which has a unique significance for us to further undentand the modem Chinese society in an all-round way.
