Eraser throws down the gauntlet2 on the very first page, making it clear he likes things “perfectly clean”. He basks3 amidst a spread of stark white pages, stating happily,“No pencil can mess with me.” Eraser has met his match, however, as Pencil promptly laughs at Eraser by drawing a goofy4 but spot-on caricature5. Then the chase is on.
