摘　　要：全球化是世界发展的趋势,也是高等教育必须面临的挑战,更是发展"新工科"必须重视的大背景."新工科"大学生全球胜任力的培养不容忽视.通过对目前工科大学生自身素质的分析,指出了全球胜任力是"新工科"大学生培养过程中不可或缺的素质特征.结合"内外圈模型",分析了目前我国工科大学生的全球胜任力培养存在的问题,指出了新工科大学生全球胜任力培养的主要途径.Globalization is an inevitable trend for the world and reality universities have to confront.In a global context,the development of global competency of engineering students is demanded for domestic higher education.By review of the capabilities of engineering students,global competence is found to be an essential asset for the cultivation of college students of Emerging Engineering Education.The problems in global competency development in domestic universities are examined based on Global Competence Model.Suggestions are proposed at both individual and institutional levels to foster open-mindedness,diversity attentiveness and accountability in engineering students, strengthen cross-cultural cooperation skills from a global and historical perspective,and ultimately improve the global competency of engineering students.
