摘　　要：As a compulsory course for English majors in colleges and universities, English linguistics is of great significance to English majors in colleges and universities. However, as the English linguistics curriculum itself belongs to theoretical teaching, the teaching process requires the two-way interaction between teachers and students, so the teaching effect is not good. College English linguistics takes the cultivation of students' comprehensive abilities to use English as the premise, and emphasizes the cultivation of students' listening and speaking abilities to help students transmit the accurate written and oral information in the process of the social work and communication, thus improving students' English levels and preparing for their future international communication.
