摘 要:为改进三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)绝热层材料的烧蚀性能,将八乙烯基硅倍半氧烷(OVP)作为耐烧蚀填料应用于EPDM绝热层,制备了EPDM/OVP复合材料,并研究了材料的力学性能与耐烧蚀性能。结果表明:与EPDM相比,EPDM/OVP复合材料拉伸弹性模量明显提高,残炭量有所增大。随着OVP用量的增大,EPDM绝热层材料的线烧蚀率逐渐降低,且烧蚀后形成的炭层更为致密均匀。当OVP添加量为15phr时,复合材料的综合性能最优,线烧蚀率最小,为0.0582mm/s,较EPDM降低了27.3%,可见OVP在提高EPDM耐烧蚀性能方面有较高应用价值。Octavinylsilsesquioxane(OVP) was used in ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM) heat insulation materials as an ablative filler to prepare EPDM/OVP composites to improve the ablation and mechanical properties of EPDM.The mechanical and ablative properties of the materials were observed.The results show that the tensile elastic modulus and the char residual mass of EPDM/OVP composites are higher than those of EPDM.The linear ablation rate of EPDM/OVP composites are gradually reduced with the increase of the content of OVP when denser and more homogeneous char layers are formed after ablation tests.The comprehensive performance of the composites is the best and the linear ablation rate is decreased by 27.3% to 0.058 2 mm/s when the OVP is added to 15 phr,which indicates that OVP has great application value in improving ablation resistance of EPDM.
