摘 要:“以时文为南曲”是徐渭在《南词叙录》中针对明代中后期传奇创作八股化倾向的批判。关于“以时文为南曲”的具体含义,前人提出了不同的观点,如钱锺书先生认为“尚指词藻而言”,周贻白先生则认为“在其内容方面的宣扬礼教”。文章从文体间的相互影响以及《南词叙录》相关论述的内部逻辑分析,认为在“以时文为南曲”的这一整段论述中,其实包含了徐渭对《香囊记》及其后学在思想内容和语言形式两个方面的不满。但“以时文为南曲”和“无一句非前场语”这两句,其内在都是指向思想内容而言的。“Writing Nanqu(a general term for a variety of melodies like southern drama in the Song and Yuan dynasties)with the eight-part essay style”is Xu Wei’s critique of the eight-part essay-like tendency of legendary creation in the middle and late Ming dynasty in his monograph entitled Nan Ci XuLu.On the specific meaning of“writing Nanqu with the eight-part essay style”,the predecessors have already put forward different views,such as Mr.Qian Zhongshu’s view that“it is still concerned with the lines”,and Mr.Zhou Yibai’s opinion of“the propaganda of feudal ethics in its content”.By analyzing the interaction between styles and the internal logic of the related exposition of Nan Ci XuLu,this paper holds that the whole discussion of“writing Nanqu with the eight-part essay style”actually shows Xu Wei’s dissatisfaction with A Record of a Sachet in terms of its theme and language form.But the two citations of“writing Nanqu with the eight-part essay style”and“not a sentence is not covered in The Four Books and the Five Classics or Zhu Xi’s annotations”have something to do with the theme of the drama.
