Traditional belief that malaria infection can lead to malaria, serious harm to human health. But with the progress of research, scientists have found that Plasmodium infection also has an important correlation with tumors. On the one hand, Plasmodium infection promotes the development of Burkitt lymphoma;on the other hand, Plasmodium has a negative relationship with mortality from some cancers such as gastric, breast, and lung cancer. At present, the mechanism of the influence of Plasmodium infection on tumor is not clear, which may be related to the regulation of innate immunity and adaptive immunity, which requires further study by scientists. Tumor as a serious disease, there is no effective treatment. The proposal of Plasmodium malaria immunotherapy will provide a new direction for tumor therapy, especially in the development of tumor drugs and vaccine design. In this paper, the research progress of the relationship between Plasmodium and tumor is reviewed in order to explore new methods of tumor treatment.
