《布里尔小姐》的边缘性解读

摘　　要：《布里尔小姐》是英国短篇小说家凯瑟琳·曼斯菲尔德的一篇经典作品。小说主要描写了主人公布里尔小姐某个星期日下午在一个法国公园的内心幻想,到最终幻想破灭的经过。边缘性是曼斯菲尔德小说的一个普遍主题,本文从巴赫金哲学人类学思想中的“中心-边缘”思想出发,以主人公的边缘生存体验为中心,分析主人公的边缘形象,探讨小说的边缘主题:孤独、幻灭、衰老。Miss Brill is a classic by Catherine Mansfield, an English short story writer. It narrates the process from the inner fantasy to the final disillusionment of miss brill in a French park one Sunday afternoon. Marginality is a common theme in Mansfield's novels. Based on Bakhtin's thought of "center-edge" in philosophy and anthropology, this paper takes the protagonist's marginal living experience as the center, analyzes the protagonist's marginal image, and discusses the novel's marginal themes: loneliness, disillusionment and aging.
