At the end of the stage of savagery, Arabs gradually had started moving from the tribal societies to the age of civilized countries. After the rise of Islam, the story of the cavalier poet Antar, who was known for his bravery and poetry in the Arabian Peninsula in the stage of savagery, had gradually evolved into the epic “Antar, a Bedoueen Romance” through the singing and inheritance of folk oral artists. This paper uses Melliekinsky’s theory of the origin of heroic epic to analyze the origin of the Arab epic “Antar, a Bedoueen Romance” and explore the “non-deification” tendency of “Antar, a Bedoueen Romance” as a classic epic.
