A Study on Gezhong+X from the Perspective of Neo-Cognitive Pragmatics

摘  要:运用新认知语用学相关理论对现代汉语中的“各种X”的语义语用及其形成原因进行分析。从结构和语义上看,“各种X”构式可分为三种次类构式:“各种+NP”、“各种+VP”和“各种+AP”,其基本语义(彼此不同种类)逐渐虚化,程度义增强;从语用角度来看,“各种X”语用色彩由客观陈述逐渐向主观评价演变,交际过程中的焦点信息也得到凸显;“各种X”的产生固然受到了社会-认知因素(前语境知识等)的制约,但更是受到了源于使用者概念隐喻与转喻等认知能力的影响,是语用动因与认知内因共同作用的结果。Based on the theory of Neo-Cognitive Pragmatics, this paper gives a semantic and pragmatic analysis on the modern Chinese gezhong+X and the reasons for its formation are also provided. In terms of type and semantics, gezhong+X can be divided into three subtypes: gezhong+NP, gezhong+VP and gezhong+AP, with its basic meaning(different types) gradually weakened and the degree of meaning enhanced;from a pragmatic point of view, the pragmatic color of gezhong+X is gradually changed from the objective statement to the subjective evaluation, in which the information focus is highlighted in the communication process. Although the generation of the popular structures gezhong+X depends on socio-cognitive constraints, the prior context knowledge, for example, it is more influenced by the users’ cognitive abilities such as metaphor and metonymy. It is the result of the interaction between pragmatic motivation and cognitive internalities.
