摘　　要：Blue and Yellow Macaw ( Ara ararauna ), which is part of Psittaciformes, Psittacidae, is distributed mainly over South America. They always dwell in the primeval forest, feed on various plant, fruit, seed and bud, and also eat some insets in their breed period. It is incorporated into the Appendices Ⅱ of Convention or international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora. Now there are many zoos recommend the Blue and Yellow Macaw and feed it, but never have report of breed.
