摘　　要：未来是网络为中心的世界,发布于2000年秋天的.NET计划是微软继推出DOS、Windows之后的又一个革命性的开发平台,其目的就是要搭建第三代互联网平台。文章对.Net的核心内容和组成进行了详细的介绍,并对其在地理信息服务领域的应用前景进行了展望。最后,基于.Net平台实现了一个提供地图服务的原型系统。Internet is the centre of the future world.In June2000,Microsoft released a revolutionary new platform,Mi-crosoft.Net,built on open Internet protocols and standards,with tools and services that meld computing and communica-tions in new ways.Net is a new platform designed to facilitate development of interoperable Web applications,based on a totally new architecture.In this paper,the authors introduce the core contents and basic elements of.Net,and then de-scribe its application vision in spatial data fields.Finally,a prototype system is developed to provide map service in in-ternet based on.Net platform.
