摘　　要：千兆位以太网技术以其速度快、带宽大且兼容性好,具有比传统标准以太网更强大的功能,是目前计算机高速网络的一个较新的领域。在对千兆位以太网体系结构分析的基础上,着重讨论了千兆以太网的技术特点,针对实现千兆位以太网的几个关键性技术进行了论述,并介绍了快速以太网向千兆位以太网升级的途径。Compared with the traditional ethernet, gigabit ethernet has powerful functions with its high speed, wide bandwidth and compatibility. Now gigabit ethernet technology is a new field of high speed LAN. Based on analysis of the structure of gigabit ethernet, this paper emphasizes the technology characteristic , discusses some key technology of gigabit ethernet and introduces several ways of upgrade from fast ethernet to gigabit ethernet.
