摘　　要：Inmarsat-C系统使用的是数字通信技术,提供了存储一转发、电报、数据报告、询呼等多种通信业务。应用地面站提供的Imarsat-C服务中的数据报告和询呼业务,可以完成船位的自动获取,从而可以对船舶进行动态监控。此文介绍了两种不同方式的询呼,一种是通过PSTN（公共交换电话网）到地面站,一种是通过C站到地面站。The Inmarsat-C system, which uses digital communication technology, provides various communication services including data saving, transmitting, telegram, data report, polling and so on. With the data report and polling functions furnished by LES(Land Earth Station), we can automatically obtain the data of the ship, and thus can monitor ships. This article introduces two different ways to poll by sending polling orders: a) from the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network)to the LES;b) from the C-station to the LES.
