Analysing the Trend of UK’s Rural Development

摘　　要：Rural development is an important indicator of a country’s integrated development.It apparently seems there are small amount of direct stakeholders in rural development,but it is one of the ribs of national industry development,the last mile for improving the people’s life quality in most developing counties.Though the issues of new land reform enforcement,unemployment,degraded ecosystem and low productivity on agriculture are nerve-racking for UK’s government,the rural development has undoubtedly been setting an example for the world,especially for developing countries.The paper,on the basis of author’s personal observing in dozens of UK’s rural areas and exchanging ideas with some experts there in 2017,starts with a drawing of UK rural outlook from demographic point of view;then follows the present challenges of rural development;and ends up with analysing the models of rural development.Rural development is an important indicator of a country’s integrated development.
