摘　　要：Indonesian authorities declared a stateof emergency in July when 84 forestfires broke out in regions knownfor palm oil and rubber producingbecause of dry weather. According toJakarta Post, thousands of firefightersand emergency response teams weredeployed to prevent a repeat of thesmoky haze that blanketed much ofSoutheast Asia four years ago.
