摘　　要：On July 6, the UNESCO WorldHeritage Committee added Bagan,Myanmar, to its list of WorldHeritage sites. Situated at a bend ofthe Ayeyarwady River on the centralplain of Myanmar, Bagan is a sacredplace featuring an exceptional rangeof Buddhist art and architecture.
