摘　　要：“哈佛国际史学派”奠基于20世纪20年代,至今已历四代学人,前赴后继,推陈出新,不仅实现了自身国际史研究从现实主义取径到文化主义取径的转变,而且开拓了跨国史、“共享的历史”、“国家品牌”建构等新的研究领域和概念框架,深刻推动和引领了国际史的发展以及整个美国外交史学乃至史学研究的范式转换,堪称美国外交史学国际化转向的源头活水。具有深厚而复杂的跨国文化背景和跨文化理解能力,是他们共通的精神气质和学术品格。Harvard Internationalists founded in the 1920s and has experienced four generations of scholars.In the process of continuous innovation,they transformed their international history research approach from realism to cultural analysis,and explored a few of new conceptual framework and research area,including transnational history,shared history and nation branding.Harvard Internationalists’work deeply promoted and the development of international history,and guided the paradigm shift of the American diplomatic history,therefore can be called the fountainhead of the internationalization of American diplomatic history.With profound and complex transnational cultural background and cross-cultural understanding ability are their common spiritual temperament and academic character.
