摘　　要：渔业是指人类利用水域中生物的物质转化功能,通过捕捞、养殖和加工等,以取得水产品的生产活动。渔业是一个非常古老的行业,世界古代渔业史源头可以追溯到距今约4万年前的旧石器时代晚期(Upper Paleolithic)。渔业史是社会经济史研究的一个重要组成部分,可以反映人类发展各个历史时期的生产活动、生产力水平、经济生活、文化、政治等各个方面的形态及其特征。目前中国学术界对世界渔业史的研究还较为薄弱。首次从原始渔业(史前渔业)、古代文明时期渔业(早期渔业)、中世纪渔业等方面依次对世界古代渔业史作了全面的总结和概述,研究可为推动中国的世界渔业史研究乃至为农业史研究提供参考。Fishery is a kind of production activity in which humans utilize the substance transformation of organisms in water to acquire aquatic products by fishing,aquaculture and processing etc.Fishery is an ancient industry.The historical sources of world ancient fishery can be dated back to Upper Paleolithic,about 40 000 years ago.As an important component of social economic history research,fishery history can reflect the production activities,productivity levels,as well as economic,social,cultural and political conditions and features of various historical periods.At present,research on world fishery history is relatively scarce in China.Historical sources and development of world ancient fishery were summarized and overviewed in sequence of time,from primitive fishery(Prehistory fishery),ancient civilization fishery(Early fishery)to Middle Age fishery etc.The research can provide valuable references to promote the study of world fishery history and even agricultural history in China.
