摘　　要：美国犹太作家索尔·贝娄的小说世界以伦理和道德问题为核心,探讨美国犹太知识分子陷入的伦理困境,贝娄赋予他们个人和社会救赎的历史使命,践行"爱上帝"和"爱邻如己"的救赎之路。"爱上帝"通过"爱邻如己"被证明,"爱邻如己"为"爱上帝"所充盈,这使贝娄笔下的犹太主人公在世俗中不失神圣性,在平凡中不失善良的人性,凸显作家的人文主义关怀和世界性视野。Saul Bellow, a Jewish-American writer, places ethical and moral questions at the core of his works. He deeply exposes the ethical predicaments some Jewish-American intellectuals fall into and has them embodied with the historical mission of individual and social redemption. His Jewish protagonists put "loving God" and "loving neighbors as oneself" into practice. "Loving God" is proved by "loving neighbors as oneself", and "loving neighbors as oneself" is fulfilled by "Loving God", which makes Bellow’s protagonists characteristic of being worldly yet holy, ordinary yet humane, highlighting Bellow as a brilliant writer with humanistic concern and cosmopolitan horizon.
