论莱辛剧作《爱米丽娅·迦洛蒂》中的“美德”观

摘　　要：《爱米丽娅·迦洛蒂》是德国剧作家莱辛创作的一部著名悲剧。作品中爱米丽娅的死,是统治者脱离理智束缚的淫欲和天主教徒的极度虔诚所导致的必然结果,迦洛蒂一家对“美德”这个无法摆脱的意念的认识也对她的死起了重要作用,他们所追求的“美德”实际上已经偏离了其本来的含义,夹带着瑕疵——人性的弱点,而这恰恰是由作者进行悲剧创作的目的所决定的。Emilia Galotti is a famous tragedy written by German playwright Lessing.Emilia’s death seems to be the inevitable result of the rulers’lust for freedom from reason and the extreme piety of catholics.The inherent idea of virtue from her family also plays an important role in her death.The“virtue”they pursue has deviated from the original meaning actually and mixed with flaws—the weakness of human nature,all of which is determined by Lessing’s writing purpose.
