当代语言学家罗仁地类型学研究综述

摘　　要：罗仁地是当代国际著名语言学家,功能语言学派的重要代表人物之一。自20世纪80年代以来,罗仁地便与中国语言学结下了不解之缘,对汉语和中国境内诸多少数民族语言的研究都有着指引性的贡献;同时,他对语用学、历史语言学、语言接触、类型学等语言学核心领域也研深覃精。自2005年担任教育部“长江学者”讲座教授以来,罗仁地便开始一直助力于类型学研究在国内的发展,同时也对当代类型学的方法论、描写与分析的方式、比较和分类的动因等关键性问题有诸多讨论,本文就罗仁地近三十年来对当代类型学的相关研究做简要综述。Randy J.LaPolla is an international contemporary linguist,and one of the representative personages of functional approaches to linguistics.He has had an indissoluble bond with the Chinese linguistics since the 1980s by providing guidance and developing researches on both Chinese and ethnic minority languages.Moreover,he has extensive and profound knowledge of the core fields in linguistics such as syntax,pragmatics,historical linguistics,and language contact among other fields.Randy J.LaPolla has made enormous contributions to the development of typological research in China since he became a chair professor of the Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education in 2005.At the same time,he has had many quality discussions about the methodology of typology and approaches to the description,analyzation and causation of the language comparison and classification.This paper aims to give a brief review of Randy J.LaPolla’s research on contemporary typology in the past 30 years.
