摘 要:电视是一种生产记忆的科技或者工艺,不断地在记忆的再现和事件的经验之间制造矛盾,给观众带来集体见证历史事件的机会。根据小说《黑暗》改编的电视剧,勾起人们对印巴分治前后的黑暗记忆,形成一个熔合了整个民族的政治与记忆的公共媒体事件。结合公众对电视剧的反应,深入理解小说改编的文化策略。Television became the technology for the production of memory,creating in its wake a tension between the representation of memory and the experience of the event,which allowed spectators the chance to experience a collective witnessing of a past event.Television series Tamas based on a novel of the same name,triggering the memory of a dark period before and after the Partition,was a public media event that fused the politics of nation and memory.The paper seeks to understand the cultural politics of adaptation in the context of public response to the television series.
